Kitchen & Structure

The wall between the kitchen and dining room was removed. Because it supported the second story, the project required new structural support.

Eight-Foot Island

The finished kitchen gained a large eight-foot island, adding workspace, storage, seating, and a stronger connection to the living areas.

Upstairs Layout

A large upstairs laundry room was redesigned to create two bathrooms and one additional bedroom.

Open Staircase

The staircase had been closed in by walls. Those came out, replaced with an open railing and iron balusters.

Loft & Mountain Views

An upstairs bathroom was removed and the plumbing capped, turning that space into an open loft with views of Mount Baker.

Relocated Laundry

Laundry moved downstairs into a former shower room, becoming a combined half bathroom and laundry area.
